In 2002, Bro. Wendell Pilgrim, a Pastor in Plano, Texas, heard from Bro. Chuck Ward about the new MANNA WORLDWIDE ministries. Bro. Pilgrim was so excited that he told Bro. Chuck that he wanted to come to Panama with him to start feeding centers in this country, through the ministry of their missionary serving here in this country. Bro. Chuck did come with Bro. Pilgrim and in 2003 the first feeding center in Panama was started in Santiago, Veraguas.
I, Byron Willis, was there for the inaugural service and at the same time I asked Bro. Chuck to come to the province of Chiriquí to start more feeding centers. Just another year later the feeding center was started in Bajos del Río, David, Chiriqui. Since then there has been five more feeding centers started in Panama and an orphanage. MANNA PANAMA would not exist had it not been for MANNA WORLDWIDE.
